Already Gregor Smolinsky's parents pampered their guests in the beautiful half-timbered house on the Sihlhalde in Gattikon. Today, their son welcomes his guests with heart-felt hospitality in the restaurant and talented chefs in the kitchen. The menu at the Sihlhalde includes the ever-popular brasato ravioli with Périgord truffle sauce, Barbary duck confit, Kalbskopfbäggli (veal cheek) with Barolo jus, and many other classics. Guests who like to be surprised can leave the choice of food to the chef and indulge in a tasting menu that will arouse all the senses.
The gourmet restaurant, Sihlhalde, also offers a number of specialties to take out – further evidence of how uncomplicated, unpretentious, and down-to-earth first-class cuisine and service can be.
