Schiffstation (Männedorf)

In a cozy spot directly on the lakeshore lies a pretty building surrounded by trees. The Schiffstation restaurant sets great store by locally sourced produce: on the menu are fresh fish from Lake Zurich together with mouthwatering BBQ food, such as sausages, skewers, and other favorites. There is also a variety of salads and specials. With the wine, too, the selection is based on the principle that the good things in life are close at hand. The wine list features red and white wines from the Turmgut winery in Erlenbach, as well as a handful of choice wines from neighboring countries.

At the Schiffstation, even the journey there is a highlight: the restaurant can be reached using the scheduled boat service or by private boat (two moorings available). Those who prefer to make their way on terra firma will find parking spaces nearby or walk just 100 yards from the train station to this tiny paradise.
