Hasta Ice Cream
Bergamot, ginger, yuzu, or Valais apricots are just some of the delectable flavors that are on offer at the Hasta ice cream parlor in Zurich’s Old Town.
The various ice cream types are made in-house using natural, locally sourced products and served in the friendly family-run ice cream store – the first one was opened in Sion, in the canton of Valais.
Incidentally, Hasta stands for Heladeria Argentina-Suiza Totalmente Artesanal, which means Argentinian-Swiss artisanal ice cream store. The name is a nod to the Swiss founder of Hasta, who lived in Argentina for 20 years and started making his own delicious ice cream there.
