Flumserberg in Summer – a Hiking Paradise on the Walensee

Flumserberg can be reached from Zurich within just 40 minutes. This popular mountain resort holds countless experiences and magnificent views in store for visitors.

Flumserberg is a real summer paradise, offering countless possibilities for guests of all ages. Over 150 kilometers (93 miles) of hiking paths, some 13 kilometers of biking trails, three theme trails, the popular “Floomzer” summer toboggan run, and the “Cliimber” climbing tower all offer a fun- packed range of activities.

Hikers with plenty of stamina should tackle the “7 Peaks” tour. This 14 km (9 mile) full-day hike takes athletic hikers up to seven mountain peaks, where they are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the impressive Churfirsten mountain towering high above the Walensee lake or deep into the Spitzmeilen region.

Mountain bikers, too, can delight in magnificent views on their downhill runs. They are transported in comfort by cable car to the starting point of various fabulous trails, ranging from easy to medium in difficulty.

The “Floomzer” toboggan run leads through tunnels, around countless bends, and over bridges and waves, covering a distance of 2 kilometers (1.25 miles) and a height difference of 250 meters (820 feet). In addition, the “Cliimber” climbing tower on Prodalp features over 100 out-of-the-ordinary climbing stations.
