Botanical Garden Grüningen
The natural oasis of the Botanical Garden is located close to the historic town of Grüningen. Both indigenous and foreign flora is presented here in 16 different sectors. Medicinal and herbal plants are represented, as well as rose bushes, ferns, and a natural mixed forest.
The site is managed based on the criteria of ecology, biodiversity, research, and the protection of different species and nature. It offers an insight into the enormous diversity of native and exotic plants.
The Botanical Garden in Grüningen has the character of an arboretum and is home to a multitude of large trees. Besides individual visits to the garden, free guided tours are held on the first Sunday of every month. Also on offer are guided full moon meditation sessions and macro-photography workshops
