Vitaparcours in Zurich

The first Vitaparcours was created in 1968 in Zurich’s urban Fluntern quarter, directly next to Zurich Zoo. In the meantime, there are over 500 such fitness trails, most of them located in a wood or forest. The circuits have 15 stations at regular intervals featuring different strength, endurance and flexibility exercises, and are between a few hundred meters and several kilometers long. In Switzerland, everyone is familiar with the Vitaparcours trails. Below are four of the most popular ones in Zurich – including the very first Vitaparcours in Fluntern.
