Fantoche – International Animation Film Festival

More than 300 short movies and feature films, multimedia exhibitions, industry talks, and workshops: the international festival celebrates the art of animation in all its forms and promotes independent, creative filmmaking.
Having started on a small scale in 1995, Fantoche has now established itself as the largest Swiss cultural event for animation, and is a popular meeting place for the creative and design industry. On the program are innovative animation films from all over the world. Numerous short movies and feature film premieres with making-of presentations give an insight into creative filmmaking. In addition, multimedia projects in free exhibitions extend perspectives into virtual worlds.
