Drone Prix Laax

At an altitude of over 2,000 meters (6,560ft) above sea level, the best drone pilots in the world race their devices across the terrain at speeds of over 140 km/h (90 mph).

March 28 – 30, 2019

The setting for the Drone Prix Laax is spectacular – for it is held amidst the winter landscape around the Crap Sogn Gion mountain ridge near Laax, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. This competition is an official part of the first live high-speed race series, Drone Champions League, which in Switzerland takes place alternately in Rapperswil, on Lake Zurich, and Laax.

Laax is just a two-hour journey by public transport from Zurich. As a result, it is easily possible to combine the drone race with a winter’s day trip into the mountains. And in the evening, there are plenty of cozy restaurants and an attractive nightlife to enjoy back in Zurich.
