October 11 – 13, 2018

As part of the international "Drone Champions League," this racing spectacle takes place in Switzerland for the first time. With speeds of 140 Km/h (87mph), racing drones fly around Schloss Rapperswil on beautiful Lake Zurich.

Ten teams - each with four pilots – compete against each other through an obstacle course around Rapperswil Castle. The pilots handle their drones via radio remote control and first-person-view goggles (FPV). The audience follows the spectacle live on stage and projection screens with cockpit views. The drones are illuminated for easy observation.

Located in an impressive backdrop, the innovative race impresses with its technology and talented drone pilots from the USA, China, Japan, Czech Republic, England, Korea, Germany and Switzerland.

Offered in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil (HSR), additional programs include flight simulators, drone-flying courses, research information and children’s workshops throughout the race weekend.
