Tössegg is an idyllic excursion destination on the Rhine. This cycle tour leads through the lower part of the Tösstal valley, with its cultivated fields, vineyards and witnesses to industrialization. To the west, the route touches on Switzerland’s sixth largest city, Winterthur, where large machine factories once stood. The hilly Töss region comprises a narrow valley with wooded peaks and steep slopes.
To the south of the moors, the river becomes the Jona, and the landscape opens out with panoramic views of the Alpine chain.
