Urban Art at Zurich Airport

The artist, who grew up in Solothurn and lives in Berlin, creates photorealistic artworks. In his paintings, he focuses on the four seasons in Switzerland and reflects the core purpose of the Zurich Airport corporation.

Fabian “BANE” Florin

BANE, who comes from Chur, is one of the most successful artists in Switzerland’s urban art scene. His artworks immerse the observer in a new world where they can completely let go. A photoshoot in an indoor swimming pool served as a template for his mural.

Sarah “SAFU” Furrer

In her works at Zurich Airport, the Zurich-based artist combines illustrations and graphic design. She focuses on the interplay between the moon, humans, animals, and nature. A poem by a friend of the artist describes the idea behind the mural perfectly:

“The Circle
of day and night
moon and water
moth and bee
traversing the globe
circling the sun”
