There are numerous pitches for camping enthusiasts at this secluded campsite, which lies directly on the shore of Lake Walen with a view of the impressive Churfirsten mountain range.
The expansive area allows plenty of privacy, while the 200 meter (650ft) bathing beach with its well-maintained lawn makes a great recreational and relaxation area. Other facilities include several BBQ sites, a reception, kiosk, lounge area, and drying room. In addition, there are a sufficient number of restrooms and showers, washing machines and tumble driers, as well as cooking facilities.
Heidiland, Flums, and the Paxmal peace monument above Walenstadtberg are ideal excursion destinations for families.
