PASC19 is the sixth edition of the PASC Conference series, an international and interdisciplinary platform for the exchange of competences in scientific computing and computational science, with a strong focus on methods, tools, algorithms, application challenges, and novel techniques and usage of high performance computing. The Conference is co-sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the PASC structuring project and managed by the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS). PASC19 was held from June 12 –14, 2019 at the ETH Zurich, with around 430 delegates from 24 different countries taking part.

Comments from the organizers:

“Zurich is our first choice in Switzerland when it comes to organizing a large scientific conference where more than 60% of the delegates attend from countries all over the world. Zurich is readily accessible by plane and train, making it quick and easy for both national and international guests to travel to the conference venue. The local support of the two academic institutions, ETH Zurich and Zurich University, is a prerequisite when focusing on scientific excellence. Many thanks also to Zürich Tourism for providing professional advice and assistance in contacting suitable event venues and hotels.”

Dr Michele De Lorenzi, Deputy Director, Swiss National Supercomputing Centre
