20th Colloquium of Personnel Economics at the University of Zurich

The 20th Colloquium on Personnel Economics (COPE) was held at the University of Zurich from February 1 – 3. 2017. The COPE is a leading international conference in the field of Personnel Economics.

More than 100 researchers from Europe, North America and Asia participated in this year’s conference. The keynote speech was delivered by Prof. Edward Lazear from Stanford University. He is the founder of the field of Personnel Economics and the former chairman of the U.S. Council of Economic Advisers in the White House. Overall, the conference was a huge success and the participants enjoyed their stay in Zurich.

Zurich is a great city for an international conference. Its connectivity makes for a quick and easy arrival of participants from all parts of Europe. In addition, the city offers a great variety of hotels, all located within walking distance from the University. The participants of this year’s COPE all enjoyed their stay in Zurich and expressed great gratitude towards the city, the University, and the organizing committee.
