A restaurant for wine lovers. Besides exquisite cuisine, this establishment boasts one of the most extensive wine cellars in Zurich.
From the Lindenhof, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view over the river and the city – and just below this square they are treated to a host of culinary delights. The tradition-steeped Lindenhofkeller, which dates from 1860, is known far beyond the city borders.
With over 600 types of wine, it is sometimes difficult to choose – but the well-trained staff are always pleased to help. As a result, you always end up with the best wine to suit the mouth-watering food placed before you. Particularly renowned is the Swiss prime saddle of veal, for which many guests have been regularly coming to the Lindenhofkeller for years.
The restaurant may not be among the lowest priced around – but the outstanding cuisine is worth paying that little bit extra for.
