Migros Museum of Contemporary Art
The Migros Museum of Contemporary Art is dedicated to exhibiting, collecting and making international contemporary art accessible to a wide public.
Until September 2010, the Kunsthalle Zürich (Museum of Fine Art) and other cultural institutions and galleries were located on the Löwenbräu Areal, which is Zürich’s top spot for contemporary art.
The renovations of the landmarked building on the Löwenbräu Areal will be finished in 2012, then it will be partially extended and expanded with two high-rise buildings.
During this time, the Migros Museum of Contemporary Art is located in the new exhibition rooms of the Hubertus Exhibition in Zürich-Albisrieden.
