The Villa Flora features French paintings from the 19th and 20th century in the former private villa of dedicated collectors Hedy and Arthur Hahnloser-Bühler.

Today the treasure trove of paintings owned by the Hahnlosers is exhibited in changing exhibitions, organized by the Trägerverein Flora (supporting association), in invariably new, appealing contexts. With its authentic ambience and secluded garden Villa Flora, embellished by the museum architects Rittmeyer and Furrer, contributes to the pure enjoyment of art. In addition to the exhibitions, public guided tours, family Sundays, and topical events are on offer and Villa Flora is open to private groups even outside of normal opening hours.
