University of Zurich

The University of Zurich has a broad range of study courses and is made up of seven faculties, ranging from law and economics, to medicine, science and social sciences. The scientists at the University of Zurich have received numerous distinctions for their outstanding research in the fields of medicine, immunology, genetics, neuroscience, and structural biology, as well as in economics.

Universities of Applied Sciences

The Zürcher Fachhochschule is composed of four institutes of higher education: the Zurich University of the Arts, the Zurich University of Teacher Education, the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration. Here, the main focus is placed on practice-oriented education and training.
