Altschwand

The Altschwand Alpine Restaurant lies at 967 meters (3,172ft) above sea level and is situated on an alp in the rearmost part of the Goldingertal valley. The restaurant can be reached from the Atzmännig valley station in just three minutes by car or 25 minutes on foot.

Home-style cooking and various special menus are served both in the rustic Sääli and the more modern part of the restaurant. Specialties include delicacies from the tatar hat table grill, fondue chinoise, cheese fondues, and – in the fall – mouthwatering game dishes.

The restaurant can also be hired for private events.
