Europaallee Master Plan
Located parallel to the tracks of Zurich Main Station, the overall architectural concept creates new spaces for leisure activities, education, living and working.
Europaallee is a new urban quarter arising on a site covering more than 80,000 square meters (860,000 square feet), directly alongside the tracks of Zurich Main Station.
Europaallee comprises various construction sites, which have been mainly implemented by Zurich architects, but also by architectural firms from London and Amsterdam.
Europaallee is an overall architectural concept, under whose roof many different institutions are housed. Besides leisure activities such as shopping and gastronomy, it also accommodates the Zurich University of Teacher Education, as well as offices and apartments. The site extends from the listed Sihlpost building to Langstrasse, the popular entertainment street in district 4.
