Sechseläutenwiese

Every spring, Zürich's central festive green area (near Bellevue) is the scene of the traditional Sechseläuten celebration where the Böög (a symbolic effigy of winter) is burnt to banish the winter. Other large events such as the annual performances by the Knie National Circus are also held here.
