Zoological Museum of the University of Zürich

The Museum of Zoology will transport you into the animal kingdom through sight, touch and hearing. Children. Here both grown-ups and children can look through microscopes to study the beauty of tiny invertebrates or listen to the sounds of over 300 animals - from humming insects to whale songs. The variety of shapes, colors and structures in the animal world creates a sensation of awe and pleasure. The skeleton of a mammoth and the many models of rare and extinct species remind us of the changes taking place in the animal kingdom and of our responsibility for nature. Slide-shows, films and videos complete the exhibition.
