Day Trip to Mt. Pilatus 10 am
An escorted journey in a comfortable coach takes you to Kriens, where the Golden Round Trip begins. From here, the excursion is no longer accompanied and you are free to explore at your leisure. The trip continues with a ride on the Panorama Gondola and the Dragon Ride aerial cableway to the top of Mt. Pilatus at 2,123 m (6,965 ft) above sea level.
From the summit, you can enjoy a breathtaking and unforgettable panorama with 73 mountain peaks and countless lakes. The spectacular descent on board the world´s steepest cogwheel railway then takes you down to the idyllic village of Alpnachstad. From here, you embark on a leisurely 1¼-hour cruise to Lucerne, where there is sufficient time to relax or explore before the coach takes you back to Zurich.
The cogwheel railway and the boat cruise are not in operation in winter; instead, participants receive a voucher which can be redeemed in the Pilatus restaurants.
