Haus zum Rech, Architecture Archive/City Archive
This 800 year-old house is worth a visit for its history alone: flanked by two residential Medieval towers it is a fitting home to the city's archive of architectural history and the town archives. Changing exhibitions provide insights into topics related to building construction history in Zürich. A large model of the city as it was in 1800 invites visitors to combine a tour of modern-day Zürich with a look back at the past. Free entrance.
