Johann Jacobs Museum

Coffee is now one of the worlds major commodities, and one of our most popular beverages. Its influence extends to the culture, lifestyle and habits of consumers so much so that it would be impossible to imagine life without coffee. Through annual changing exhibitions, the Johann Jacobs Museum gives insights into the fascinating world of coffee and its 500-year cultural history from its origins in the Orient to the various customs concerning the way in which it is drunk through to the Internet Cafés of the present. Using multimedia techniques the museum offers interactive exhibitions which bring the history of coffee alive.
