For those who wish to combine culture with nature. We show you the main
sights of Zürich: The castle-like National Museum, the world-famous shopping
and business centre on Bahnhofstrasse, the picturesque Limmatquai with its
medieval Old Town with view to the Lindenhof, where the brave women of
Zürich saved the town from the invaders, see the largest church clock-face of
Europe on St. Peter, the patriarchal Guild Houses, the Opera house with its
famous June-Festivals and the China Garden. Short picture stop at the harbour
where you enjoy incredible views of Lake Zürich, the city and surrounding
hills, as well as the University. We leave the harbour area and continue via
University quarters to another historical point of Zürich, the Fraumünster
Church. During your visit inside the church your guide gives you in depth
description of the famous CHAGALL stained glass Windows. The journey
continues to Adliswil for a ride by cable car up to the viewpoint Felsenegg
(2600 ft/800 m) from where you enjoy a spectacular view over Zürich, the lake
and the white peaks of the Alps. Continue to Horgen, from where the ferryboat
will take you across Lake Zürich to Meilen. Return to the city along the
so-called “Golden Coast”, with its mansions on the shores of Lake Zürich. The
tour terminates at Sihlquai coach parking.
