Brief Portrait

Zürich Tourism is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote tourism both in the city itself and throughout the Zürich region (canton). Zürich Tourism works closely with local authorities, the hotel and restaurant trade, cultural institutions and other interest groups. Zürich Tourism's main activities are:

• Promoting the Zürich region at home and abroad, and establishing a brand identity
• Organizing tourist attractions and services for private travelers and people visiting on business, for conferences and incentives
• Selling tourism products and services to individuals and travel agents
• Providing inquiry and agency services via the Tourist Service, telephone and Internet
• Protecting the interests of the tourist industry in Zürich by promoting the area and boosting awareness of tourism among local authorities, the business community and the public at large
