Einar Utzon-Frank, a Danish sculptor who drew much of his inspiration from archaic Greek sculpture, created his Aphrodite in 1921. This bronze statue was acquired by the city of Zürich ten years afterwards and now decorates a park along the General-Guisan-Quai.
