Atzmännig is an ideal ski area for families and beginners. It is very close to Zurich and is not too sprawling. From starter slopes to attractive steep runs, Atzmännig has it all and that at fair prices. If you are not looking for a gigantic ski area with innumerable slopes, the Atzmännig is for you. Even ski stars have taken their first ride on our little practice lift.

Explore the magnificent snowy pre-alpine landscape on snowshoes.
In the Atzmännig area there are two marked snowshoe trails, each of which can be traveled individually. The start is near the Atzmännig mountain railway station. Both tours go past mountain restaurants.

It is a snow paradise whether for racing down alpine ski slopes or taking pleasant winter wall along paths on the car-free sun terrace in Glarnerland.
Thirty-two kilometers of tended slopes from easy to difficult, a cross slope and a great snow park are just waiting for skiers, snow-boarders and free skiers.
Young and old can use the two superb toboggan runs to glide down to the valley and nature lovers can enjoy a hike in the snow with panoramic views and homey restaurants or a cozy ride in a horse-drawn coach. Braunwald – easy to get to, simply wonderful.

Prepared cross-country loops are open at Ricken, weather permitting.
The loops are open from November through March. Yet another great place to go cross-country skiing is the cross-country center in Einsiedeln and the Sihlsee region where you can test your stamina and have great fun at the same time in beautiful surroundings.

The Haus Konstruktiv is located in the former Selnau electricity sub-station, one of the most distinctive icons of Zürich’s industrial architecture. The museum is the only such institution in Switzerland, one of just a few in Europe dedicated to historical and thematic exploration of concrete, constructive and conceptual art. The Haus Konstruktiv focuses on making it part of a living dialog with international trends in contemporary art.
On five floors with a total of 1,200m² exhibition area, visitors discover works of art in the context of their historical background in various ways, through changing exhibitions and presentations of collections.
